Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), as defined by the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise Board is "a concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and in their interaction with their stakeholders on a voluntary basis." It involves creating innovative and proactive solutions to societal and environmental challenges, as well as collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to improve CSR performance.
The Business Whisperer™ believes corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a responsibility for all organisations, and we are committed to making a real difference to the communities in which we operate. All businesses have responsibilities to their people, their clients and society. We believe a real commitment from business to CSR unites and strengthens its reputation and creates vital links with the communities within which it operates. We are a proactive part of this effort and actively get involved in CSR activities that will ultimately make a real positive impact on society.
