38 new jobs are to be created by a Kilcar based company after the board of Udaras na Gaeltachta approved a funding package at the weekend.
Cuan Tamhnaigh Teo produces carpets for aeroplanes and provides a fabric and upholstery finishing service for the aviation industry.
As part of the new development, the company is planning to focus on the production of upholstery material for buses and trains.
The company currently employs 39 people and is expected to increase to 77 over the next three year period as the new development plan is implemented.
The new project will also involve an extension to the building, which should also boost employment in the construction sector locally.
