Deborah Lee Marlow,
is a globally recognised businesswoman who has successfully built and managed companies from small home based small cottage industries to multi-million dollar global enterprises. Deborah has come out of retirement in the West of Ireland to launch The Business Whisperer. She brings over 30 years experience working with and building European, Asian, and American companies. She is a self-taught serial entrepreneur who has typically 'boot-strapped' her businesses. She combines a solid no-nonsense style of operational and management experience with openness, and (lots 'n lots) of good humour

As a single Mother at 19 years of age she launched her first business, a reforestation and forest fire-fighting co-operative in the Pacific Northwest which eventually grew into a 350 person operation. Some of her ventures include an Event Management company, Call Centre business, Dublin restaurant, Prague cinema & retail shops, European online Bank, a US based catalogue portal with over 15,000 catalogues online and others. Under her administration as Chief Executive Officer and co-owner, Award Software International Inc. grew from a small California start-up into the world's third largest B.I.O.S. systems software house. The multi-million dollar company had offices in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Brazil, Australia, Germany and throughout the USA. It maintained double digit profitability and growth every single year and grew through good ole' fashioned sales! It's still operating today.

At the behest of investors she worked as an 'Entrepreneur-in-Residence' for several of their young Technology & Internet based companies in Europe. She 'hands-on' trained the staff in Sales & Customer Service, Strategic Alliance and Business Development skills and acted as CEO/MD Emerita usually along side the founder of these young companies until they were generating cash sales.

She conducted seminars with Tony Robbins. She was the commencement speaker for the University of Oregon's graduating class. Deborah founded the Munich chapter of the American German Business Club. Her chapter became the most successful business-to-business networking club in Germany. She was the winner of the 2006 O2 Ability Awards for Leadership here in Ireland. She's featured in Global & National Irish Media: TV3, Ireland AM Show, Irish Independent, Wall Street Journal, NY Times, Prague Post, Hospodarske Noviny,and USA Today, Advertising Age, Eugene Register Guard newspaper plus numerous radio & TV interviews

She brings a lifetime of experience and solid business-building knowledge to The Business Whisperer for the benefit of small and medium business owners. She knows from hardcore experience how to (and most especially how NOT to) build a successful business. Deborah has little concept of limitation; NO or CAN'T are not in her vocabulary.
