Liam Horan
Networking and Contact Relationships
Award-winning journalist and broadcaster Liam Horan is a past master at developing and facilitating business networks and alliances. Liam writes Off the Ground, a weekly business start-up column which appears in 15 local newspapers around Ireland. He was Irish Independent senior Gaelic Games correspondent for five years and winner of the National Gaelic Games journalist of the year in 1998. He still presents a series of radio essays weekly on RTE Radio One's Drivetime programme. He is co-author of Divided Loyalties, a biography of Gaelic football star Dan O'Neill. Liam also runs Liam Horan Communications and Sl Nua training organisation both based in Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo.
Liam 'locks in' on your business, identifying networking Achilles' heels and showing you how to take effective action. All this of course in Liam's own, inimitable fashion: anyone who has heard Championship Man on RTE Radio One's Drivetime Show will know just what we mean. Liam sweeps along like a ship in full sail, bringing people with him on an infectious wave of enthusiasm which positively changes attitudes and outlooks as well as vastly improving networking and people skills.
Clearly Liam is a GAA fan and in his limited spare time he also jogs and hikes.
